Germany has the best training system in the world. In Germany, during dual training, you receive a monthly salary from the company you work for. On average, trainees currently earn 1,028 euros gross. Depending on your profession and the region in which you work, you may receive more or less. For example, an apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician costs an average of around 1,100 euros gross per month. The salary of the trainees also increases with each year of training. The dual training usually begins on August 1st or September 1st each year. In addition to practical work in the company, you will atend vocational school during your training. Before you are approved for an Ausbildung, your training company in Germany must know which school-leaving certificate you have. There is no set school-leaving certificate that you need for an Ausbildung in Germany, each company decides for itself. However, at least a secondary school-leaving certificate is usually expected.
